Abstract
In this paper, we present an explicit closed-form expression for the sojourn-time distribution of an arrival customer in the G I/M S P/1 queueing system. We also derive the correlation coefficient of the lagged inter-departure intervals. Computational experiences with a variety of numerical results are presented.
