Abstract

This paper describes software developed by the authors for numerical 3D simulation of problems on hydrodynamics and heat transfer in spherical shells. The software was based on the OpenCL standard and intended for hybrid CPU/GPU computing systems with graphical processing units. The computations were implemented on a computing system with an Nvidia GTX Titan graphics accelerator. The presented results of the tests demonstrate the correctness of the obtained numerical solutions and the efficient use of GPUs for solving problems of computational fluid dynamics.
