Abstract
The aim of the paper is to represemt the main features of an advanced industrial DDC system. The general structure of the system is briefly outlined and the main functions of subsystems on software level are discussed. The special emphasis is laid on the multiple input-output controller algorithms convenient for digital computer application. A multi-variable PID controller algorithm is given. The general structure of the operator communication system based on the process-oriented console and standardized information display records is discussed.
