Abstract

As a novel network architecture, software-defined networking (SDN) separates the control plane from the data plane through the thought of centralized control and realizes flexible allocation of network resources on demand. While information-centric networking (ICN) replaces the host-centric TCP/IP network, and the router has the function of data storage and forwarding. With the growing trend of globalization, English translation has attracted much attention. This paper pays attention to efficient English translation in software-defined ICN (SDICN). The translation efficiency cannot be ensured when multiple translation requests are made simultaneously in SDICN. Therefore, this paper studies deployment strategy of multi-controllers in SDICN. The experimental results show that the proposed strategy outperforms in controller load, packet loss rate and latency, which ensures the efficiency of English translation.
