Abstract

In this work, we present the software and hardware complex, based on LinacRad code, to drive a linac-based radiation facility at the Institute of Physical chemistry and Electrochemistry Russian Academy of Sciences (IPCE RAS). This facility is used to perform radiation experiments and commercial irradiation works, such as radiation-induced transformations of the materials. It is also used for the development of radiation technologies on the base of the Center for the Collective Use of Physical Methods of Investigation at IPCE RAS. The presented code is one of the four modules within the whole complex, designed for automation and control of the irradiation process. It serves as a part of the facility performance optimization to increase its capabilities for non-standard experiments. The code allows to simplify the work of the installation operators and increase the reliability of technological processes.
