Abstract

The development of complex mechatronic products requires the interdisciplinary collaboration of experts from different domains. At the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, University of Paderborn, a set of specification techniques is being worked out. This supports the domain-spanning cooperation and communication and considers the interaction between the product and the production system in early design phases. itemis AG formalize the specification techniques and implement them into a software tool.
