This article aims to analyze the changes in the qualification requirements of workers and the need to develop behavioral skills, soft skills, through the acquisition of new knowledge for entering and remaining in a competitive job market. With the pandemic, companies demand more empathy and resilience from workers to face current and future adversities. In a scenario of uncertainties, human potential and adaptability in the gradual process of replacing labor by machines in labor activities in all areas of society are considered.
