Abstract
We investigate the pattern of soft gluon radiation associated with parton-parton scattering by explicit evaluation of the 2 → 3 scattering processes in the soft limit. After azimuthal averaging, the results provide the initial conditions for an angular-ordering approximation to coherent multiple soft gluon emission, which may be incorporated into Monte Carlo simulation programs.
