Abstract

The paper analyzes the legal foundations, institutional structure and key dimensions of Moscow’s public diplomacy (cultural cooperation, scientific and educational ties, support for compatriots abroad, humanitarian aid, economic cooperation and technological partnership). Using Moscow as an example, the authors emphasize the importance of integrating «soft power» tools into the city’s international relations to strengthen Russia’s national brand and promote its national interests.
