Abstract
On the basis of the PCAC hypothesis and current algebra, we calculate the cross section of one and two soft pion production in the deep inelastic scattering of electrons and neutrinos on nucleons. The experimental measurement of these processes would make it possible to investigate the one-nucleon matrix elements of the axial and isovector current commutators and contribute to elucidation of the scale invariance mechanism.
