Abstract
We calculate the spectrum of soft bremsstrahlung photons at RHIC and LHC and find that the total energy of these photons is 0.5−1 TeV at RHIC and 10–20 TeV at LHC. This radiation is confined to a very narrow cone around the beam axis. We also find that the contribution of π 0 decays is negligible at small transverse photon momenta.
