Abstract

In perturbative QCD, non-cancelling soft divergences are power-suppressed at high energies up to order g 4 . Previous proofs of this property have used the eikonal approximation, which with massless quarks is not correct for individual graphs (in the Feynman gauge). Nevertheless, the above property is here shown to be correct for the sum of all graphs.
