Abstract

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists indicates adequate anesthesia as a prerequisite for operative vaginal birth. We aimed to determine whether certain maternal sociodemographic characteristics are associated with the use of regional neuraxial anesthesia (NA, i.e. epidural or spinal) in operative vaginal births.
