Abstract

Socio-psychological prevention is aimed at creating psychological, pedagogical, and socio-psychological conditions for optimal provision of the process of the individual’s socialization and the organization of psychological socio-pedagogical assistance to families and adolescents. Prevention of adolescent suicide in the educational environment is carried out on the basis of such principles as strategic integrity, which defines a single prevention strategy (directions, methodological approaches, and specific measures), priority of social issues prevention, and accessibility and efficiency of assistance and support. In the process of socio-psychological prevention, it is crucial for a teenager with a suicidal risk to have changes in the perception of his/ her own «I» and the surrounding reality.
