Abstract
The Art Deco style was reflected in the works of Ukrainian fine and decorative arts artists. In domestic art analysis, this style has been studied fragmentarily, so there is a need to fill these gaps. The author of the article investigated the socio-cultural conditions of the formation and popularization of Art Deco style in Galicia. It was determined that active socio-cultural phenomena influenced the development of the artistic life of Galicia during the interwar twenty-year period. This became the proper basis for the formation of new European styles, in particular Art Deco.Keywords: Art Deco style, socio-cultural conditions, Galicia, interwar period, artistic association.
