PARIS. Academy of Sciences, August 28.—M. Lcewy in the chdr. —On a typhoon of last year in the China seas, by M. H. Faye.—R. P. Chevalier, Director of the Meteorological Observatory of Zi-Ka-Wey, has sent an account of the terrible typhoon of October 7–10, 1892, which led to the loss of the British mail steamer Bokhara, to M. Faye.
