Abstract

In carrying out life, human beings will never be separated from the social environment. As social beings, humans interact with each other and to realize order in them requires mutual agreement. Social values are very important. Social value is not only found in the learning material, but we can also get it in short stories. As an example of the social value contained in the short story The Collapse of Surau Kami by A. A Nafis. This study aims to examine in depth the social value contained in the short story Collapse of Surau Kami by A. A Nafis. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. While the type of research is included in library research.
