Abstract
The research is to describe social preotection for poor family through Social security network implementator, including its support and handicap in Panggungharjo Village, Sewon Underdistrict, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta special Territory. Data were gathered through indepth interview and documentary analysis, and analyzed through qualitatifdescrptive technique. The research found that social protection done by implementor of social security network manifested through health and educational program through one-home one-scholar, with joint venture insurance scheme. The funding hailed form village budgeting, CSR contribution, and local community. The handicap was they had yet special management, they still did as side job. The supporting factor was the local leader commitment to help poor families enhancing health and education level. It recommended that the Ministry of Social Affairs should intervene through its program for community who have local wisdom on social security for poor families.
