Abstract
The change of profession / occupation from one generation to other is called Social mobility. Social mobility of employees in government and private sectors in Hyderabad is studied in this paper. For the study we collected primary data from employees and analyzed the data using markov chain models. We mainly focused on asymptotic behavioral pattern of social mobility among government and private employees.
