Abstract

Because of its importance in the Andalusian business, I made a web analysis of 35 SMEs from different sectors of the PTA Malaga and it´s implementation of SMO (Social Media Optimization) to know what is the state in these SMEs. The technique used to analyze the websites of SMEs in various sectors of the PTA has been the method of content analysis. For the analysis of the sites of PTA in the implementation of the SMO, we have identified the presence or absence (presence = 1, no = 0) of eight units of analysis set out to measure the SMO: social bookmarking, web feed, blogs, broadcast content, mashups, widgets, social media buttons. According to the results obtained by the surveyed companies, particularly SMEs PTA Malaga, have a low implementation of social media optimization in its websites.
