Abstract

Through this paper, I will explore the role of social innovation and inclusive tech in the time of COVID-19. It gives a general background and how countries have reacted to this pandemic through social innovation and their advantages and disadvantages. The paper is divided into four major parts. The first part gives a background on how social and digital innovations have been useful at the time of different crises all over the world. The second part focuses on the current crisis of COVID-19 and how different startups all over the world have come with innovations to make the situation better. The third part of the paper focuses primarily on the Indian startups and the role of the Indian government in supporting those startups. It also looks at the advantages and disadvantages of such innovations. The final part concludes the entire argument on how social innovations are beneficial at the time of crisis.
