Abstract

Governance is simply the action or manner of governing a state, organisation etc. Thus governance refers to a process of governing. From the smallest social organisation of a family to the largest socio-political organisation of a state, the issue of governance is all about right decision-making in a right manner. The most formal entity of governance is a government, which is a body having sole responsibility and authority to make binding decisions in a given geo-political system.
