Abstract

The article contains a sociological analysis of the process of consolidation of Russian society in the conditions of a special military operation. The analysis is based on data from a sociological survey of experts, revealing the degree of support for Russia's course to protect its sovereignty in the context of global confrontation with the West from the leading socially active forces of Russian society, the level of support for the goals of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine from representatives of state and municipal authorities, management structures of large corporate business and business structures with state participation, the spheres of science and education, the Internet community, show business, the media sphere. The analysis of expert assessments of the level of confidence of the population in the reality of achieving the final goals of a special military operation, as well as the degree of confidence in overcoming Russia's global confrontation with the West, is given. From the position of the presence of consolidated positions in society regarding alternatives to the current course of socio-economic development, an analysis of expert assessments of the expectations of Russian society after the completion of a special military operation was carried out. It is concluded that there comes a time in the development of Russian statehood when the problem of choosing the ideological basis that will determine the future of Russia comes on the agenda. Based on this, the article analyzes expert assessments of ideological positions that can become the basis of the consolidation process. It is concluded that the basis of ideological positions is concentrated around the integrating values of citizenship and patriotism, trust and solidarity, and the focus on overcoming the problems facing society.
