Abstract

The article examines the origin of the concept of “musical thinking” in the aspect of social reality. The role of musical thinking as a component of human thinking as a whole is explored, the patterns of the emergence and formation of musical thinking are revealed. Such concepts as “musical language” and “musical logic” are updated in terms of the process of composing creativity. The properties characteristic of musical thinking as a phenomenon of a certain social, ethnic and cultural type of society are identified.
