Abstract

Though Tamil novels are formed Type based historic novels are formed based on the history. In that order, to create history and to highlight people’s livelihood a novel named ‘Sool’ by S. Dharman won Sahithya academy award in 2019. This novel presents the fragrance of the Black soil in the native of the author. He depicts the changes occurring in the society of the village named urulaikkudi, through contemporaly literature. This novel portrays people’s feelings of selfies thoughtful humans transforming into god. It also distinguishes the difference between freedom farming process that was in a republic nation and struggle faced in British colonization. The way the high-class people treated the long class people is compared to feeding high quality branded fish with a low-quality fish. Amongst the people struggling to agriculture he introduced family techniques in order to increase the yield. So, the research essay of this novel, S.
