Abstract
This research aimed to investigate the continued health effects for rehabilitated adolescent drug addicts after undergoing rehabilitation at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Baddoka Makassar, in South Sulawesi Province. The method used was a qualitative approach, and the data were obtained from BNN Baddoka Makassar, drug addicts rehabilitated in it, and field observations. This study shows that advance handling of continued physical health for rehabilitated adolescent drug addicts is crucial to be implemented since it could enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation. Accordingly, it turns out that after rehabilitation, there are still advanced physical health problems that must be anticipated such as weight problems, increased tension complaints, cholesterol, and increased blood sugar, teeth loss, down to the indications of lung disease, hepatitis, and others. The implementation of advance post-rehabilitation health treatment is necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the rehabilitation program conducted by BNN Baddoka Makassar.
