Social based Trust Management System for Resource Sharing Service

Abstract

The Sharing Economy is a socio-economic ecosystem built around the sharing of human, physical and intellectual resources to maximize efficiency. The key issue is a collaborative consumption which is not one person owns the resources but multiple people share it to optimize utilization. So, the trustworthiness between participants is most important things. To provide trusted resource sharing service, we need to evaluate and manage the trustworthiness about the participants and resources. Therefore, we propose the trust management system and the Trusted Resource Sharing (TRS) model. The TRS model describes relationship, trust profile and usage information between the resource and user. It is implemented as an ontology, because the trust index is very diverse according to the target service and user preference. Finally, we show the implementation result based on the resource sharing service scenario.
