Abstract
The Housing Bill, which was featured in the Journal (Birchall, 1988), is finally the 1988 Housing Act. On the one hand it is hard to keep up with all the changes. On the other hand, the core of the Bill, as outlined in the May issue of the Journal remains remarkably intact. This paper looks at the impact on housing associations, tenants' transfer proposals, the co-operative option, and the case for a new tenant involvement agency.
