Abstract

Upon the introduction of this social analysis model, dietetic students and community nutrition practitioners will have a valuable tool that can be used for the assessment and diagnosis of food insecurity within community groups. Use of this social analysis model will enhance the development of evidence-based interventions, as well as monitoring and evaluation approaches for programs serving food insecure individuals in the community.
