Abstract
O livro “A Arte da Guerra de Sunzi” (c. séc. IV aec.) elabora um diagnóstico de tempo a respeito de sua situação histórica atravessada pela necessidade econômica da guerra. No presente artigo, elabora-se o problema interpretativo de que esta possui uma aparente ambiguidade entre belicismo e pacifismo. Apresenta-se a questão econômica enquanto um princípio organizador do Sunzi, solucionando essa ambiguidade.
