Abstract
A Dactylosoma is reported from a specimen of Bufo marinus caught in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The various evolutive forms of the agamic cycle are described, as well as what the author regards as gametocytes. Pending clarification of the taxonomy of the genus, the parasite under discussion is classified as Dactylosoma ranarum.
