Abstract

A descriptive analysis is here performed of the short novels written by Mariano Azuela between 1896 and 1920. With particular attention the formal characteristics and content are approached, so as to show, upon this basis, the narrative learning process of the novelist until his complete dominion, as illustrated in the two versions of Los de abajo (1916 and 1920)
