Abstract

A prospective study of A2, S and C Hemoglobins was made in 70 heterozygous infant cases. Our results suggest, after a comparison of published studies of adults, that the normal adult levels of Hb A2, Hb S and Hb C have been reached by the age of three months and not 6 months to one year as previously thought.
