Abstract

A simple method is described for making impression prints from coronal sections of pig snouts using endorsing ink. The paper prints provide a reversed facsimile picture of the structures in and around the nasal cavity, and hence an indication of the extent and severity of the anatomical lesions of atrophic rhinitis present. They may be used as originals or photocopies (enlarged if required) for record purposes or for morphometry.
