Abstract

A new international facility for underground science, SNOLab, is currently under development near the existing SNO site in Sudbury, ON, Canada. SNOLab will provide underground space and general infrastructure support for particle astrophysics experiments, and is inviting interested collaborations to submit letters of interest to take advantage of this new opportunity. The entire laboratory will be in a clean environment, similar to the current facility occupied by SNO, and will contain several new experimental halls. In addition, there will be a surface facility containing research laboratories, clean rooms, office space, meeting rooms and other facilities. The construction of the underground facilities is expected to be complete by 2007. The surface facility will be complete by summer, 2005.
