Abstract

The appearance of the COVID-19 pandemic, determined the establishment of the health emergency, therefore the mandatory confinement, to continue with the educational system it was necessary to implement remote education, this new system caused an overload on teachers, mainly affecting their mental health, for this reason it was proposed as the objective of this study to determine the relationship between Burnout syndrome and organizational commitment in secondary education teachers during the health emergency due to COVID -19, a quantitative approach study of correlational type, using a sample of 323 teachers, statistical processing allowed to conclude that there was an inverse and significant relationship between the burnout syndrome and organizational commitment in secondary education teachers.
