Abstract

This research work signifies about fulfilling electrical energy demands for communication and internet access for people residing in remote locations and off-grid areas. These remote areas may be surrounded to mobile communication facility but deprived of continuous power availability. the electrical energy is the vital necessity to charge the electronic gadget to access communication network without interruption. Most predominantly, mobile phones and tablets are mainly used for communication and internet access. Therefore, the electrical energy is an essential requirement to charge the mobile phones even in off-grid locations. the solar PV and thermoelectric generator integrated with cookstove may be one of the sustainable solution for mobile charging and play an important role to uplift such off-grid regions by facilitating the access to ommunication network. The thermoelectric generator (TEG) and a Solar PhotoVoltaic (SPV) are integrated with cookstove for power geneartion to charge mobile phones and even light a led light. The LED light will provide a cleaner lighting solution. These two technologies are broadly discussed in this paper with its design and development when integrated with cookstove.
