Abstract
This letter derives a computationally efficient sequential Monte Carlo solution for blind detection of direct-sequence code-division multiple-access systems over multipath fading channels by decomposing the observed data into a number of signal components. Then the parameters of each component can be estimated by the sequential importance sampling and Kalman filtering. In comparison with other similar receivers, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed solution achieves the desirable performance with a significantly reduced computational complexity
