A 72-year-old man was seen in our department for a treadmill electrocardiogram (ECG) stress test; he had previously been diagnosed with stable angina and was on maximum anti-ischaemia treatment—including nifedipine, atenolol, transdermal nitroglycerin, and ranolazine. The patient had a history of 3-vessel coronary artery surgical revascularisation, which had been done 26 years before.
