Abstract
This article describes a plan and demonstration system for the large-scale deployment of solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery minigrids throughout the 10 regions of Cameroon. The developer for this effort, Renewable Energy Innovators—Cameroon (REIc), has been a core developer of the IEEE Smart Village family of minigrid products (please see “Part 1” of this series) over a 10-yr period.
