Abstract

Skin diseases are one of the most prevalent issues in today's scenarios and require investigation. The method of diagnosis is still dependent upon the findings and experiences of physicians. Misdiagnosis, late diagnosis, or inability to diagnose may result in adverse or life-threatening effects. Our work focused on enhancing the diagnostic process of skin disease and bridging the gap between diagnosis and cure. This paper introduces a new 'Intelligent' Skin Monitoring Device idea that allows patients in rural areas to monitor skin diseases remotely. The proposed method consists of AI and cloud-based IoT, where CNN is used to analyze the medical images and disease predictions. The impact of the season is also addressed in this work. The framework offers both a diagnostic and preventive approach to addressing the problems faced by people with minimal or no skincare facilities in remote areas.
