Abstract
Even in these modern times, with so much technological improvement, women's safety has always been a concern. Women are not safe anywhere, but they are especially vulnerable while driving alone on lonely roads or in uninhabited areas. The goal of this project is to present a safety equipment that will save a woman in numerous scenarios when she is in danger. The device's implementation is broken down into three pieces. The first part assures that if a woman is in danger in public settings, an alarm mechanism is in place. The messaging system, which will be activated by a switch anytime a woman is in an unsafe scenario, is the subject of the second section. A GPS receiver, a microcontroller, and a GSM modem are all included. The GSM modem delivers an SMS to the pre-programmed phone number. The GPS receiver receives location data from satellites, which is then provided to friends and relatives, as well as the nearest police station. The final section discusses self-defense mechanisms such as electric shock, which a woman can use to defend herself if she is in danger. Additional features include audio recording and capturing the Culprit's image in such a way that the gadget is automatically triggered when a suspected motion is detected in front of the camera. This is sufficient evidence against the perpetrator of the crime. We also intend to integrate another self-defense method, such as hitting the perpetrator with a sharp needle by automatically accessing their present location in order to render the perpetrator unconscious for a short period of time, allowing the victim to flee. The project's highlight is that it is designed as a gadget that can be operated by those who have never used a mobile phone before.
