Abstract

In the paper, we presented a health-adjusting light source to build a 3D uniform light field in the smart healthy lighting space. The smart healthy lighting space was used to therapy seasonal affective disorder(SAD) and circadian rhythm indoor lighting. Traditional SAD lamps were inconvenient to use and difficult to control the light dose. Therefore, we built a 3D uniform light field in a healthy residential environment. In the light field, Maximum irradiance exceeded 3.8 mW/cm 2 at 20 cm and light field uniformity greater than 90%. In the light field, multiple people of different heights could perform SAD treatment at the same time. Even if the patient moved in the light field, the light dose received by the patient was the same. If SAD treatment was not required, it could also be used as an indoor lighting source. The color temperature of the light source could be changed from 1900K to 6500K to simulate the change of sunlight from sunrise to sunset for adjusting the circadian rhythm. The lighting design could made light therapy more convenient to use. In the future, the design concept of 3D uniform light field could also be applied to other fields of light therapy. It realized the concept of Smart Health in Smart Environments.
