Abstract

SEPA (Smart Electric Power Alliance) is a not for profit organization that is working for grid modernization including efficient energy use of communication technologies superimposed on the grid between the power generation point and customer locations using power. In the past three years, SEPA has published four whitepapers examining the need for EMC to be considered for devices installed on the power grid as well as other critical locations such as that at a power substation.
