Abstract

The incorporation of IoT (Internet of Things) innovation within agricultural practices, often referred to as precision agriculture, has gained significant attention in recent years. This paper presents the development and implementation of a Smart Farming Decision Support System aimed at enhancing agricultural efficiency, productivity, designed to optimize water management and resource utilization in precision agriculture. The system utilizes various sensors, microcontrollers, and web technologies to monitor environmental conditions and automate irrigation processes in real-time. A detailed description of the system architecture along with its hardware components, software implementation, deployment strategy, experimental results, and potential impact on agricultural practices is provided.
