Abstract

The problem in this research is utilizing the internet of things into the access control system on the door lock system which is considered capable of being a solution in the event of system disruption. The control system is carried out by smartphones using voice commands through Google Assistant, the output is the Blynk application and Telegram chat bot. NodeMCuserves as a microcontroller connected to a door lock device system installed at the airport with a smartphone via an internet connection. Tests were conducted in three locations representing the placement of access door equipment in airport terminals, and the resulting output varied, with the first experiment in the workshop room showing telegram chat bots had the smallest delay of 1.94 seconds to open and 1.25 seconds to lock the door lock. A second attempt at terminal boarding lounge 1A showed the Blynk app had the smallest delay of 1.70 seconds to open and 2.21 seconds to lock the door lock. A third attempt in the boarding lounge of terminal 1B showed the use of the Blynk app had the smallest delay of 4.87 seconds to open and 4.67 seconds to lock the door lock. If averaged, the use of the Blynk application has the smallest delay of 2.87 seconds to open and 3.16 seconds to lock. The use of internet of things-based smart door locks is also reliable when access control network problems occur. In addition, the system can also be used on more than one smartphone by using Google Assistant voice commands as its control.
