Abstract

The development of the Internet has enabled interconnection of products, services and people into one unit by means of so called Internet of Things. Technologies like the Internet, transfer of information, data processing and booming development in electronics and informatics make it possible to create a completely different picture of our towns and to create a phenomenon of recent years — Smart City. A psychological impact on people is highly important. What to do so that people change their behavior and begin to behave responsibly to the environment? The sharing economy is a concept of social changes of people in the 21st century who do not need to own the things of daily use and, thanks to the existing offer of various communication tools, are able to make use of joint products. In our contribution, we will sketch out economy of car sharing, bicycle sharing, public transport and possibilities of using these systems in our consumer society.
