Abstract

Cities are densely populated and heavily equipped area with a high level of service provisions. A smart city can use these conditions to achieve the goals of a smart society for their citizens. Smart city, with the complex sociotechnical systems, involves the flows of an increasing amount of data coming from multiple sensors. Internet of things (IoT) is grown up with mixed devices, and these devices are the source and expansion of the big data, have initial notion of a smart city. The aim of smart cities is to give sustainable urba advancement worldwide. Major contributing components are smart transport, smart health care, small grid, smart community etc. Smart cities provide opportunities for improving energy efficiency, the living standard of humans and surroundings ambiance, economy and governance. The paper has to interpreted an analysis and review of smartcity definitions, concept of smart city and technique covering the smart city approach.
