Smart Attendance System Using RFID and Face ID

Abstract

Appropriate and productive attendance management plays an important role in the corporate world. The utilize of RFID technology allows the university management to avoid attendance forms from affliction such as a laceration, and mislaid. Numerous radio frequency identification (RFID) and other automatic identifying technologies became more popular (RFID). An Extensive research and other applications have been created to make the most of this technology while also expressing several drawbacks. RFID is a type of wireless technology that uses radiofrequency waves to convey data from an electronic tag, also known as an RFID tag, or a label, to an RFID reader for the purpose of identifying. In this project, planning to integrate RFID tags in students' ID cards, and RFID receivers will be installed in respective classes for the Attendance process. Here individual ID card is assigned with UID(RFID). This system would detect that UID to check for individual's data using Micro Controllers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. By entering the class with that ID card, the individual's attendance will be noted automatically. To avoid proxy attendance, Face ID is used for verification. It also generates the attendance report in the Excel Sheets format.
