Abstract

To fulfill one's desires, goals, and life objectives, independence is the key building block. For those who are visually challenged, going out on their own might be difficult. Many millions of individuals throughout the world are visually impaired person (VIP) and always in need of assistance. Ultrasonic sensors, an infrared sensor, a single camera, and a Bluetooth or earphones are all included in the stick for VIP. This system can identify obstructions up to 200 cm in front of, to the left of, and to the right of users by using a network of ultrasonic and infrared sensors. In the proposed work, these ultrasonic sensors are joined to an Arduino in order to process data further. The camera is utilized to capture images for object recognition, and the user will hear spoken captions and presentation of the captured image. This audio will serve as a substitute eye for persons who VIP by explaining what the image is and what to do if it poses a threat.
